Your Own Private Forwarding Address

Product Update October 27, 2026 by Yahala Labs

Forwarding a booking confirmation has always been the fastest way to get a trip into AI Trip Tracker: send it to [email protected] and the AI does the rest. Until now, that worked best from the email address on your account. Forward from a work mailbox, or have your partner send their booking, and the email had nowhere to go.

Starting today, every account has its own private forwarding address.

What It Looks Like

Your address looks like trip+a string of letters and numbers@aitriptracker.com. You'll find it in the app under Settings, in your profile, with a Copy button. The Email Itinerary shortcut in the app's Add menu uses it too.

Anything sent to that address lands in your trips, no matter who sends it:

Why It's Also More Secure

The plain [email protected] address still works, but only for email we can verify really came from the address on your account. We check the sender authentication that your mail provider adds (DMARC, SPF and DKIM), so nobody can slip a fake itinerary into your trips by pretending to be you.

Your private address is different: it works from anywhere because the address itself is the key. The random part is long enough that it can't be guessed. Treat it like a password you're happy to share with the people who book travel for you.

And email from a stranger that matches no one? It never reaches anyone's trips. It isn't read by the AI, and it's deleted after seven days.

Getting Started

  1. Open AI Trip Tracker and go to Settings.
  2. Tap Copy next to your private forwarding address.
  3. Forward your next booking confirmation to it, or save it as a contact named "AI Trip Tracker" so it's always one tap away.

Your flights, hotels and activities appear in seconds, and flight tracking starts automatically.
