Introducing Uber & Lyft Integration

Product Update April 18, 2026

There's a particular moment in every trip that nobody talks about: you've just landed, you're tired, the cabin lights flick on, and while everyone else is fighting for overhead bin space, you're already thinking about how you're getting to your hotel. Do you open Uber? Lyft? Check both? Compare prices? Type in the airport name and hope autocomplete gets it right?

We've been there too many times. So we built something better.

One Tap from Touchdown to Pickup

Starting today, AI Trip Tracker shows you ride estimates from both Uber and Lyft directly on your flight detail page. The moment your flight status changes to "landed," a new Ride Options section appears with real-time pricing from your arrival airport.

You'll see multiple tiers side by side — economy, comfort, premium, XL — with estimated fares and wait times for each. No more switching between two different apps to compare. No more typing addresses while you're shuffling through the jetbridge. The destination is pre-filled based on your trip's hotel or next activity, so in most cases it's literally one tap to request the ride.

How It Works

When you add a flight to AI Trip Tracker, we already know your arrival airport, terminal, and expected landing time. We use that information to query ride-hailing APIs and surface estimates that are relevant to exactly where and when you'll be standing.

Why This Matters

The gap between "flight landed" and "in a car heading to your destination" is one of the most stressful parts of travel. You're disoriented, possibly in a city you don't know, and you're juggling luggage, customs, and a dying phone battery. The last thing you need is to comparison-shop for rides.

By embedding ride options directly into the flight detail page, we've eliminated that friction entirely. You already have AI Trip Tracker open to check your flight status — now the ride is right there too. No context switching, no extra apps, no wasted time.

Availability

Ride options are available at all major airports where Uber and Lyft operate. Estimates are based on real-time pricing and may vary by a few dollars by the time you confirm. The feature works on all devices — phone, tablet, and desktop — though we expect most people will use it on their phone while walking through the terminal.

This feature is available to all AI Trip Tracker users, including those on the free trial. Give it a try on your next flight.
